Gay bars in Long Beach

Long Beach has one of Southern California's biggest LGBTQ+ communities, and its gay bars cluster along Broadway, with a few more a short ride away. It feels more neighborhood than West Hollywood: cheaper drinks, karaoke, pool tables and patios.
Bars on and around Broadway
Sweetwater Saloon
At 1201 E Broadway, a tiny dive with two pool tables that has long been the go-to spot for queer women in Long Beach. It gets packed on Pride weekend.
The Silver Fox
At 411 Redondo Ave, a longtime, roomy bar with Art Deco style, a cozy outdoor patio, karaoke, go-go dancers on weekend nights, and Drag Race screenings.
Executive Suite
At 3428 E Pacific Coast Hwy, a three-level club with a karaoke bar, pool tables, games and regular drag shows. Its Sugar Saturdays upstairs are a weekly ladies' night.
Mineshaft, The Broadway Bar and Falcon
Mineshaft is a Levi's and leather bar on Broadway. The Broadway Bar is a neighborhood spot locals know for karaoke and pool. Falcon is a dive-style hangout on East Broadway.
